Matt Malloy is an American actor and producer known for his extensive work in television, film, and radio. He gained recognition for his co-starring role in the 1997 black comedy movie In the Company of Men, which he also co-executive produced. Malloy has appeared in the Amazon Prime Video comedy series Alpha House, where he portrayed Mormon GOP Senator Louis Laffer from Nevada. Born on December 6, 1963, in Hamilton, New York, Malloy graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase. His uncle, actor Henry Gibson, inspired him to pursue an acting career. Malloy began his acting career in 1988 with the made-for-television movie The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial and the HBO mockumentary TV series Tanner '88.
