Matt McGorry

Matt McGorry is an American actor best known for his roles in the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black as John Bennett and the ABC legal thriller series How to Get Away with Murder as Asher Millstone. Born and raised in Manhattan, New York, McGorry began his career as a personal trainer and fitness writer. He made his television debut in 2011 on the soap opera One Life to Live and went on to make guest appearances on shows like Person of Interest, Gossip Girl, and Royal Pains. McGorry's breakout role came in 2013 when he joined Orange Is the New Black as corrections officer John Bennett.
