Matt Milne Biography
Matt Milne (born 1990) is an English actor and director. He gained recognition for his role as Andrew, a farm hand, in Steven Spielberg's War Horse (2011), which was based on the book by Michael Morpurgo. Milne graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2011. In 2011, he performed with the National Youth Theatre in James Dacre's production of Orpheus and Eurydice at the Old Vic Tunnels. Milne joined the cast of the ITV period drama Downton Abbey in 2012, playing the character of Alfred, a footman. He appeared on the show from Season 3 until Season 4. Milne has also directed various projects.
