Matt Piedmont

Matt Piedmont (born 1970) is an American film director and writer. He gained recognition as a writer for Saturday Night Live, where he worked for six years and won an Emmy. Known for his absurdist sketches, one of his notable works includes 'Shirtless Bible Salesmen' featuring Will Ferrell. Piedmont created, wrote, and directed the popular web series The Carpet Brothers. He made his directorial debut with the Spanish-language film Casa de mi padre, starring Will Ferrell, Diego Luna, Gael García Bernal, Nick Offerman, and Genesis Rodriguez. Piedmont also wrote and directed the short film Brick Novax's Diary, utilizing miniature figures and sets. His works showcase his creative approach to storytelling and filmmaking.
