Matt Pinfield

Matthew Pinfield is an American television host, disc jockey, and music executive. Born on May 28, 1961, he gained national prominence as a VJ on MTV, hosting the alternative music program 120 Minutes from 1995 to 1999 and again from 2011 to 2013. Pinfield started his career in the 1980s as a radio and club DJ in the New Jersey alternative rock scene. He served as music director at WHTG-FM and won several awards before joining MTV. In addition to hosting 120 Minutes, Pinfield has hosted various shows on MTV, MTV2, and VH1. He also worked as the vice president of A&R and artist development for Columbia Records from 2001 to 2006.
