Matteo Lane

Matteo Lane (born June 28, 1986) is an American comedian, actor, singer, and illustrator. He was born and raised in Arlington Heights, Illinois and comes from a mixed Mexican, Italian, and Irish heritage. Lane is openly gay and has an older brother who is also gay. He is multilingual, speaking English, Italian, Spanish, and French, and studied German in high school. Lane began his singing career at the age of 15, specializing in opera. He later transitioned into comedy and gained popularity in the Boystown neighborhood of Chicago. Lane is also an accomplished illustrator, having studied oil painting and drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009.
