Matthew Ashford

Matthew Nile Ashford (born January 29, 1960) is an American actor known for his roles on the soap operas Days of Our Lives and The Bay. He began his career in New York City, playing Drew Ralston on One Life to Live from 1982 to 1983. Ashford then portrayed Cagney McCleary on Search for Tomorrow until the show's conclusion in December 1986. However, his most notable role is that of Jack Deveraux on Days of Our Lives, a character who started as a villain but later transformed and became popular as part of the super couple with Jennifer Horton, played by Melissa Reeves.
