Matthew Ashforde is an English actor known for his appearances in popular TV shows such as EastEnders, Press Gang, and Is It Legal?. In EastEnders, he portrayed Sonia Fowler's lawyer Adam Childe in 2007. Ashforde has also played various characters in other notable shows, including Darren in Is It Legal?, the hotel porter in Mr. Bean in Room 426, Abi Harper's boyfriend in My Family, and Zane in the audio drama The New Gods. He has also been a regular cast member on CBBC's Hetty Feather, playing the character Mr. Cranbourne. Additionally, Ashforde has appeared in comedy series such as Never Better and Drop The Dead Donkey, and is recognized for his role as the biker in McDonald's adverts in the late 1990s.
