Matthew Cottle (born 16 February 1967) is an English film, stage, radio and television actor. He is known for his role as Dave in the television series Citizen Khan. Cottle studied drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1990. He has appeared in notable films such as Chaplin (1992) and A Christmas Carol (1999). In 2019, Cottle appeared in The Personal History of David Copperfield. His recent theatre work includes The Deep Blue Sea, The Chalk Garden, Wonderland, How the Other Half Loves, Our Country's Good, A Small Family Business, The Habit of Art, Quartermaine's Terms, and A Chorus of Disapproval.
