Matthew Davis Biography
Matthew Wadsworth Davis (born May 8, 1978) is an American actor. He is known for his roles as Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde (2001), Adam Hillman on What About Brian (2006-2007), and Alaric Saltzman on The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017) and its spin-off Legacies (2018-2022). Davis also appeared on the CW drama Cult (2013) and had a recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2007-2008). He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Woods Cross High School and the University of Utah. In addition to his film and television work, Davis starred in the Vietnam War film Tigerland (2000) and the Urban Legend film series (2000-2001).
