Matthew Dennis Lewis

Matthew Dennis Lewis is an American actor known for his appearances in the Netflix Western series Godless (2017) and the chess prodigy series The Queen’s Gambit (2020). He was born and raised in Binghamton, New York, and has three brothers, including his twin brother Russell Dennis Lewis, who is also an actor. Before pursuing acting, Lewis worked at a tanning salon and modeled fitness and swimwear. He trained and competed in the martial art of Muay Thai, which he believes helped him secure acting roles. After living in New York City for six years, Lewis moved to Los Angeles, where he currently resides and works. Outside of acting, he has expressed an interest in marine biology and kinesiology.
