Matthew J. Saville

Matthew J. Saville is an actor, writer, and film director from New Zealand. Born in Durban, South Africa, Saville moved to New Zealand as a young child. He discovered his passion for theatre and film while studying at university, later pursuing acting at Toi Whakaari. In 2005, he published a play titled 'Kikia te Poa' about the Boer War, which was performed in Sydney and London. Saville has acted on both stage and screen, with notable appearances in TV shows like Spartacus, Super City, and The Almighty Johnsons. He has also written for television, contributing to shows such as Shortland Street, The Insiders Guide to Love, and The Blue Rose. Additionally, Saville has written and directed two short films.
