Matthew Rosenberg is an American journalist known for his coverage of national security issues for The New York Times. Born on August 2, 1974, in New York City, Rosenberg has an extensive background as a foreign correspondent, having spent 15 years reporting from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He holds a bachelor's degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Prior to joining The New York Times, Rosenberg worked as a foreign correspondent for The Associated Press, covering regions such as South Asia, the Middle East, East Africa, and the Caribbean.
