Maury Ginsberg is an American theater, film, and television actor. He is best known for his recurring roles as Steven Benowitz on season 2 of Jessica Jones and Simon White on season 2 of NBC's Manifest. Ginsberg graduated from Bard College and currently resides in the New York metro area. He has been active in the theater community, having performed in productions such as The American Clock and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. Ginsberg has also worked with friend and mentor Olympia Dukakis on plays including Mother Courage and The Cherry Orchard. In 2015, he appeared in the Off Broadway Cherry Lane Theatre's 'Laugh it Up, Stare it Down,' showcasing his versatility by playing a series of different characters. In 2016, he impressed audiences with his distinctive performance in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Disgraced at The Cincinnati Playhouse.
