Mawaan Rizwan

Mawaan Rizwan (born 18 August 1992) is a Pakistani-born British actor and comedian. He began his career as a YouTuber and gained attention for his videos at the age of 16. Rizwan's mother, Shahnaz, had a background in Pakistani films and migrated to London with Mawaan and his sister in 1994 for a better life. Facing deportation at the age of eight, the family won indefinite leave to remain after legal battles and protests. Rizwan's television career includes starring in the BAFTA-nominated series 'DNN: Definitely Not Newsround' in 2013 and the Disney XD UK series 'Mega Awesome Super Hacks' in 2015 alongside Oli White and Jimmy Hill.
