Max Amini is an Iranian-American comedian, actor, producer, and director. He is best known for his world touring stand-up comedy shows and his appearances on various television shows. Max has been featured on NBC's Heroes, Netflix's Real Rob with Rob Schneider, and Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia. He was named one of the top comedians to watch by Jerry Seinfeld on an episode of Spike's Car Radio Podcast. In addition to his comedy career, Max established his production company, Abstraction Media, in 2010 and has sold projects to networks such as Voice of America, Discovery, and more. He has also directed a Netflix original stand-up special and a feature film set to release in 2022. Born in Tucson, Arizona, Max is the son of Iranian parents who immigrated after the 1979 revolution. He attended high school in Washington, D.C., and graduated from the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television in 2004.
