Max Maven

Max Maven (born Philip T. Goldstein; December 21, 1950 – November 1, 2022) was an American magician and mentalist. Known for his erudite and intelligent performances, he was regarded as one of the most influential mentalists of all time. Maven gained recognition for his mind reading tricks on television magic shows, often engaging the audience in interactive experiences. He grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, where he became popular for his performances at various nightspots, including the Playboy Club. Maven was also a prolific author and created numerous magical and mentalist effects. He worked as a magic consultant for renowned performers and contributed to industry journals like Genii and The Linking Ring.
