Maxime Le Flaguais

Maxime Le Flaguais, born Maxime Côté in 1982, is a Canadian actor. He gained recognition for his role as Alexis Labranche in the drama series Les Pays d'en haut from 2016 to 2021. In the 2022 film Rodeo, he delivered a notable performance. The son of actors Michel Côté and Véronique Le Flaguais, Maxime initially used his birth name for acting but later chose to adopt his mother's surname professionally in 2010. This decision allowed him to establish his own career without being overshadowed by his father's fame. Maxime Le Flaguais was nominated for Best Lead Performance in a Film at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards in 2023 for his role in Rodeo. He has also collaborated with singer-songwriter Beyries as a songwriter.
