Maya Maron

Maya Maron (מאיה מרון), born on May 12, 1980, is an Israeli actress and Ophir Award winner. Raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Maron is the youngest of four siblings. Her mother, an office manager, was born in Siberia, while her father is a diamond dealer from Eastern Europe. Maron attended the School for the Arts in Tel Aviv and was scouted at the Arad music festival, leading to her role in Ari Folman's film Saint Clara. She received an Ophir Award nomination for her supporting role in the film. Maron initially majored in theatre at Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts but later transferred to Ironi He, a municipal high school.
