Maya Sansa

Maya Sansa is an Italian actress born on September 25, 1975, in Rome. She is the daughter of an Iranian father and an Italian mother. Sansa began studying acting at the age of 14 at her high school in Rome, the 'Virgilio,' before moving to London to pursue further studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She gained recognition when she was selected by Marco Bellocchio to star in his film 'La balia' and later worked with him again in 'Goodmorning, Night.' Sansa has also collaborated with director Marco Tullio Giordana in 'The Best of Youth.' Her talent and performances have earned her acclaim, including winning the David di Donatello for Best Supporting Actress in 2013. Sansa currently resides in Paris with her partner Fabrice Scott and their daughter, Talitha.
