Meg Bussert
Meg Bussert (born October 21, 1949) is an American actress, singer, and university professor. She made her Broadway debut in the 1973 revival of Irene as the Debutante. In 1980, Bussert had a breakthrough when she was cast in two revivals: The Music Man as Marian Paroo, and Brigadoon as Fiona MacLaren. She won the Theatre World Award for her performance in both and received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for Brigadoon. Bussert also appeared as Guinevere in a national tour and 1981 Broadway revival of Camelot, opposite Richard Harris as King Arthur. In addition to her stage work, Bussert has worked as a standby for various productions.
