Megan Whitney Boone is an American actress born on April 29, 1983, in Petoskey, Michigan. Raised in The Villages, Florida, Boone developed a passion for acting at a young age after being taken to see a Broadway play by her grandparents. She studied acting at Belleview High School, graduating in 2001. Boone's breakout role came when she portrayed FBI agent and profiler Elizabeth Keen in the NBC drama series The Blacklist. She also had recurring roles in Law & Order: LA and Blue Bloods, and appeared in films such as My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009) and Step Up Revolution (2012). Boone has Jewish, English, German, Dutch, and Scottish ancestry.
