Megan Stalter (born September 15, 1990) is an American comedian and actress known for her comedic videos portraying desperate and deluded characters. Stalter's characters often display theatricality, frequent mispronunciations, and botched suicide attempts. She has described her characters as people whose lives didn't turn out a certain way, but they continue to pretend like it did. Stalter gained recognition for her role as Kayla in the HBO Max comedy series 'Hacks'. Born in Cleveland, Stalter moved around Ohio during her childhood and was raised in the Pentecostal Church. She attended Wayne High School where she actively participated in the drama club. Stalter pursued acting after leaving college and began her comedy career in Dayton before relocating to Chicago.
