Mel Fronckowiak

Melanie "Mel" Nunes Fronckowiak is a Brazilian actress, writer, and TV host. Born on January 16, 1988, in Araranguá, Santa Catarina, she was raised in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul. Fronckowiak gained recognition through her work as a model, appearing in various advertising and TV commercials in São Paulo. She rose to fame for her role as Carla in the Brazilian teen telenovela Rebelde. In 2013, she ventured into writing and published her first book, Inclassificável: Memórias da Estrada, which recounts her experiences traveling to forty Brazilian cities with the band Rebeldes. Fronckowiak's parents are psychologist Berenice Nunes and André Fronckowiak.
