Mel Johnson Jr.

Mel Johnson Jr. is an American character actor and film producer from Long Island City, Queens, in New York City. He is known for his role as the mutant cab driver and Mars secret agent Benny in the 1990 hit science fiction film Total Recall. Johnson has also appeared in Broadway musicals such as On the Twentieth Century and The Rink. He played Broca, a Cardassian leader, in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's final two episodes. Additionally, Johnson has made guest appearances on shows like The Munsters Today, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and The Practice. His film credits include Off the Mark, Murder By Numbers, and In the Shadow of the Cobra.
