Mela Hudson (July 24, 1987 – August 14, 2018) was an American actress and producer known for her roles in Split Costs, The Sisterhood of Night, Hits, Eight, and Melancholia. She made her producer debut in 2013 with films like Presence and Resident Evil: Red Falls. Hudson was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York, to parents Michael Marinucci Jr. and Carol Ann Dalrymple. She had two brothers, Michael and Vincent. Hudson began her acting career at the age of eight and participated in the Estelle and Alfonso Performing Arts Program and Betty Jean Studio. She attended Holy Trinity, a private Catholic school, and later Van Wyck Junior High School.
