Melania Trump

Melania Trump (born Melanija Knavs, April 26, 1970; Germanized as Melania Knauss) is a Slovenian-American former model and businesswoman. She served as the first lady of the United States from 2017 to 2021, as the wife of former president Donald Trump. Melania grew up in Slovenia and worked as a fashion model in Milan and Paris before moving to New York City in 1996. She married Donald Trump in 2005 and became an American citizen in 2006. Melania Trump is the second naturalized woman and the first non-native English speaker to hold the position of First Lady. Since the end of her husband's presidency, she has chosen to live a more private life.
