Melendy Britt (born October 31, 1943) is an American actress known for her work in television and voice acting since the 1970s. She gained recognition for her roles in various animated series, notably as the voice of She-Ra in Filmation's She-Ra: Princess of Power and the second animated Batgirl. Britt also voiced the character Penny in The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show. In addition to her voice work, she has appeared in films such as Gray Lady Down (1978) and Being There (1979). On television, Britt had multiple appearances in The Rockford Files and played Roxanne Gaines' mother in an episode of Cheers. She was born in Houston, Texas and has two daughters.
