Melina Vidler

Melina Vidler is an Australian actress, best known for her role as Shay Turner in the television series 800 Words. She was born on February 20, 1993, in Brisbane and grew up in Samford, Queensland. Vidler comes from a family of five; her parents are Kaylene and Wayne Vidler, and she has two older brothers named Beau and Brent. After completing her education at Ferny Grove State High School, she studied acting at the Queensland University of Technology. Vidler later relocated to Sydney, New South Wales, to further her acting career. In 2016, she won the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Newcomer for her performance in 800 Words.
