Melissa Johns

Melissa Johns is a British actress and disability activist. She is best known for her roles as Sadie in The Interceptor, Imogen Pascoe on Coronation Street, Hannah Taylor in Life, and Miss Scott in Grantchester. Born in Herefordshire, Johns grew up in Ledbury and attended John Masefield High School. Despite being born without her right forearm and hand, she pursued her passion for acting and trained at East 15 Acting School. Johns has become a prominent advocate for better representation of disability in the arts and is an ambassador for disability in the industry. Her advocacy work has earned her several awards and recognition.
