Melissa McBride Biography
Melissa Suzanne McBride (born May 23, 1965) is an American actress known for her role as Carol Peletier on the AMC series The Walking Dead (2010–2022). Born in Lexington, Kentucky, McBride made her acting debut in 1993 and appeared in various TV shows including Walker, Texas Ranger (1997) and Dawson's Creek (1998). In 2007, she starred in the box office film The Mist (2007). McBride's role on The Walking Dead initially started as a minor one, but expanded over time to become a main cast member. She has received critical acclaim, multiple awards, and nominations for her portrayal of Carol. As of 2020, she is the second billed cast member in the show's opening credits and one of only two actors to appear in every season.
