Melody Thomas Scott

Melody Thomas Scott (born Melody Ann Thomas, April 18, 1956) is an American actress known for her role as Nikki Newman on the soap opera The Young and the Restless. Born in Los Angeles, Scott began her acting career as a child actress and appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's film Marnie in 1964. In the mid-1970s, she had roles in various television shows and movies, including The Shootist alongside John Wayne. In 1979, she joined The Young and the Restless as Nikki Reed and has since become an important character on the show. Scott has also made appearances on series such as The Rockford Files and Charlie's Angels.
