Merab Ninidze

Merab Ninidze (born 3 November 1965) is a Georgian actor known for his roles in Nowhere in Africa and The Courier. Born in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, USSR, Ninidze grew up in an artistic family. He was introduced to music by his grandmother and studied classical music for seven years. With a grandfather who was a theatre director, Ninidze was involved in theatre from a young age. At the age of thirteen, he auditioned for a part in a production of Richard III, directed by Robert Sturua. The production achieved great success, touring the UK and participating in festivals. Ninidze's talent and versatile performances have earned him recognition in the English-speaking world.
