Meredith Salenger

Meredith Dawn Salenger is an American actress known for her roles in the 1985 film The Journey of Natty Gann and the 1989 teen comedy Dream a Little Dream. She was born and raised in Malibu, California, to parents Dorothy and Gary Salenger. Salenger comes from a Jewish background, with her family originally hailing from Austria and Russia. After graduating cum laude with a degree in psychology from Harvard University in 1992, she pursued additional education in dispute resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. When she is not acting, Salenger works as a mediator for the Agency for Dispute Resolution in Beverly Hills, California.
