Michael Avenatti

Michael Avenatti is an American former attorney and convicted felon, born on February 16, 1971. He gained prominence as the legal representative for adult film actress Stormy Daniels in lawsuits against former U.S. President Donald Trump. Avenatti is known for his outspoken criticism of conservative politicians and his appearances as a legal and political commentator on television and in print. However, he has faced legal troubles and convictions. In 2019, he was indicted on various criminal counts including extortion, tax evasion, fraud, and embezzlement. Avenatti was convicted of extorting Nike in 2020 and sentenced to 30 months in prison. In 2022, he received an additional 14-year sentence for stealing millions from clients.
