Michael Bacall (born Michael Stephen Bucellato) is an American screenwriter and actor. He is known for co-writing the films Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, 21 Jump Street, and Project X. Bacall was born in Los Angeles, California on April 19, 1973, and comes from a family of Sicilian descent. He began his acting career at a young age, appearing in movies and television. In the 2000s, Bacall transitioned to writing and co-wrote and co-starred in the film Manic. He has sold scripts to major studios, including Psycho Funky Chimp and In Search of Captain Zero. Bacall also wrote the feature adaptation of the documentary The King of Kong. His notable television appearances include Highway to Heaven and Columbo.
