Michael Ball (born June 27, 1962) is an English singer, presenter, and actor. He gained recognition for his West End debut in 1985 as Marius Pontmercy in the original London production of Les Misérables. Ball went on to star as Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera in 1987. He achieved chart success in 1989 with the song 'Love Changes Everything' from the musical Aspects of Love, where he portrayed the character of Alex Dillingham. Ball has had four number one albums in the UK, including his latest release, Coming Home To You. In 2020, he topped the UK Singles Chart with a cover of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' alongside Captain Tom Moore.
