Michael Blackson is a Ghanaian-Liberian-American actor, philanthropist, and comedian based in the United States. Born to Ghanaian parents, he spent his early years in Monrovia and Ghana before moving to the United States in the mid-1980s. Blackson gained recognition in the comedy industry after releasing a comedy sketch CD titled Modasucka: Welcome to America in 2005. He has made numerous television appearances, including on TV series 30 Rock, P. Diddy Presents: The Bad Boys of Comedy, and Chappelle's Show. In 2011, he appeared on Starz's Martin Lawrence Presents: 1st Amendment Stand-up and Showtime's Shaquille O'Neal Presents All Star Comedy Jam. Blackson continues to entertain audiences with his unique comedic style and has become a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
