Michael C. Maronna (born September 27, 1977) is an American actor known for his roles in television programs and films. He gained recognition for portraying 'Big Pete' Wrigley on the Nickelodeon series The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Maronna also appeared as Jeff McCallister in the popular movies Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to a firefighter father and a guidance counselor mother, Maronna has Italian, Irish, and Dutch heritage. He attended Hunter College High School and later studied documentary/nonfiction filmmaking at Purchase College of the State University of New York. Maronna began his acting career with a Scott Paper commercial before landing his breakthrough role on The Adventures of Pete & Pete.
