Michael Carbonaro is an American actor, magician, and improv artist. Born and raised in Oakdale, New York, he began performing magic professionally while still a teenager, using it to pay for his college tuition. He holds a bachelor's degree in drama from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Carbonaro gained recognition for his hidden-camera 'Magic Clerk' segments on The Tonight Show, where he amazed unsuspecting customers at a convenience store. This led to his own television series, The Carbonaro Effect, which premiered on TruTV in 2014. He has also appeared on Chappelle's Show and played Andy Wilson in the 2006 comedy Another Gay Movie.
