Michael Chabon
Michael Chabon (born May 24, 1963) is an American novelist, screenwriter, columnist, and short story writer. He studied at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1984. Chabon received a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of California, Irvine. He gained recognition with his debut novel, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh (1988), followed by Wonder Boys (1995) and two short-story collections. Chabon's novel The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay (2000) won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He also wrote The Yiddish Policemen's Union (2007), which won several awards, and Gentlemen of the Road (2012). Chabon's work spans various genres and has garnered critical acclaim.
