Michael Che

Michael Che Campbell (born May 19, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for his work on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, where he served as co-anchor on Weekend Update alongside Colin Jost. Che and Jost were also co-head writers from 2017 until 2022. In addition to his work on SNL, Che was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and has worked as a writer for Saturday Night Live. He co-hosted the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2018. Born in Manhattan, New York City, Che is the youngest of seven children and has a family background in law enforcement.
