Michael Cudlitz

Michael Cudlitz (born December 29, 1964) is an American actor known for his roles in various television series and films. He gained recognition for his portrayal of John Cooper in the NBC/TNT drama series Southland, winning the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2013. Cudlitz also appeared as Sergeant Denver 'Bull' Randleman in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers and as Sergeant Abraham Ford in the AMC horror series The Walking Dead. Born and raised in Lakewood Township, New Jersey, Cudlitz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts. He began his career in the art department of various shows before landing his first acting role in the film Crystal Ball in 1989.
