Michael Dammann Eisner is an American businessman and former chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company from September 1984 to September 2005. Before Disney, Eisner served as the president of Paramount Pictures from 1976 to 1984 and worked at NBC, CBS, and ABC. During his tenure at Disney, Eisner oversaw the revival of the company's animation studios, leading to the success of films like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King.
