Michael Fairman

Michael Fairman (born February 25, 1934) is an American actor and writer. With a career spanning several decades, Fairman has appeared in numerous television shows and films. He is best known for his roles as Nick Szabo in the daytime drama Ryan's Hope, Department Inspector Knelman in Cagney & Lacey, and Patrick Murphy in The Young and the Restless. Fairman has also made appearances in popular TV shows such as Charlie's Angels, Eight Is Enough, Barnaby Jones, Taxi, WKRP in Cincinnati, Hill Street Blues, Seinfeld, ER, and The X-Files.
