Michael Genet

Michael Genet (born August 25, 1958) is an American actor and screenwriter. He is known for his guest appearances in various television series set in New York City, including The Equalizer, New York Undercover, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ugly Betty, As the World Turns, and One Life to Live. Genet has also written screenplays for films such as Spike Lee's She Hate Me (2004) and Talk to Me (2007), which was directed by Kasi Lemmons. In addition to his work in television and film, Genet has also appeared in several Broadway stage productions.
