Michael Greyeyes Biography
Michael Greyeyes (born June 4, 1967) is an Indigenous Canadian actor, dancer, choreographer, director, and educator. He gained acclaim for his portrayal of Crazy Horse in the television film Crazy Horse (1996) and his role as Sitting Bull in Woman Walks Ahead (2018). Greyeyes has appeared in popular TV shows such as Fear the Walking Dead, True Detective, and I Know This Much Is True. In 2021–2022, he starred in the sitcom Rutherford Falls. Greyeyes won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Actor in 2021 for his performance in the zombie film Blood Quantum. Born in Saskatchewan, he is Plains Cree from the Muskeg Lake First Nation and Sweetgrass First Nation.
