Michael Hyatt

Michael Hyatt, born Charlene Hyatt, is a British-born American actress known for her work in film and television. She has a diverse background in theater, having performed on stages across the United States, including a role in the Broadway production of Ragtime. Hyatt has had notable television appearances, portraying characters such as Brianna Barksdale on The Wire, Dr. Noelle Akopian on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Detective Sheila Muncie on Ray Donovan, and Cissy Saint on Snowfall. Born in Birmingham, West Midlands, to Jamaican parents, Hyatt was exposed to art and theater from a young age due to her parents' involvement in the field. She migrated to the United States at the age of 10 and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Howard University and a Master of Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
