Michael Irvin
Michael Jerome Irvin (born March 5, 1966) is an American sports commentator and former professional football player. He played his entire 12-year career as a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). Irvin was selected in the first round of the 1988 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys after playing college football at the University of Miami. Throughout his career, he was known as a playmaker, making big plays in big games. In 2007, Irvin was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. His career ended abruptly in 1999 due to a cervical spine injury sustained during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
