Michael J. Anderson

Michael J. Anderson (born October 31, 1953) is a retired American actor known for his roles as The Man from Another Place in David Lynch's television series Twin Peaks and its prequel film, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. He also portrayed Samson Leonhart on the HBO series Carnivàle. Anderson has the genetic disorder osteogenesis imperfecta, which results in a shortened stature of 3 ft tall and frequent breaks in long bones. Prior to his acting career, he worked as a computer technician for Martin Marietta and was involved in NASA's Space Shuttle ground support system. He appeared in the documentary Little Mike: A Videoportrait of Michael Anderson in 1984.
